Cool Shades was created in July 1998 by athletes who wear and test their product everyday – in training and competition. Therefore, all of our sunglasses are ultra light in weight and designed with comfort in mind.

Although “Cool Shades” remains our corporate name, it no longer reflects the direction our company has taken.  In 2003, we went beyond producing just cool shades to producing “precision sport eyewear.” All our sunglasses are manufactured from basically the same materials as those companies who charge $120 for their sunglasses.

All our lenses are distortion free (optically correct) and our frames are made with TR-90, an extremely durable, pliable, virtually unbreakable material.
